Funeral Mantra released new lyric video « Parsec »

Funeral Mantra was born in October 2010 as a cover band. Just a bunch of friends playing Black Sabbath, Spiritual Beggars, Kyuss.
In the first 4 months of 2012 the band starts playing live as a Spiritual Beggars tribute. Venues are located in the Rome area [Closer, Jailbreak] as well as just outside Rome [Porky’s, Dissesto Musicale].
In the spring of 2012 Adriano ZioNano, experienced drummer, joins Funeral Mantra. The sound becomes heavier and heavier.
In autumn 2012 G [guitar] leaves the band and is replaced by Roberto Randy, virtuous musician and a huge Randy Rhoads-Zakk Wylde fan. Once the band’s become stable, original riffs finally begin giving life to heavy, fat tunes influenced by BLS, Black Sabbath, Orange Goblin, Sasquatch, The Sword, Kyuss, Down.
In February 2013 Daniele leaves the band, and Simone The Dude becomes the new singer. Funeral Mantra start playing their own material live and, in November 2013, they record the first 4-track studio demo.
In February 2014, Marco Karonte takes Adriano’s place on drums. And the band finally finds its true and final lineup.
Funeral Mantra’s sound is a solid, granitic heavy-stoner mix, with an old school and dynamic soul. The band’s songs mostly revolve around introspection, death, afterlife, reincarnation and dreamy substance induced scenarios.
