70 years ago today, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and ever since, December 10th has been regarded as the International Human Rights Day.

We chose this day to release the new music video for our song JERUSALEM because we feel that now, more than maybe ever during our lifetime, we need to remind ourselves of the basic values, duties and rights that we all share regardless of our race, sex, colour, culture, religious faith or political views.

The video gives voice to Iraqi migrant Bakr Hasan through a performance in which he processes his emotions about getting a negative asylum decision from the Finnish Immigration Service. At the same time it speaks for all those genuinely distressed asylum seekers who under devastating circumstances have had to flee their own countries and who then have ended up in some remote and unknown destination, many just to get a return ticket right back to the persecutions of war.
